Michelle Mustian

Michelle brings more than ten years of senior living and healthcare experience to The Willows at Raleigh. She earned her Marketing degree with a minor in Communications from Western Carolina University and began her career in radio advertising, a natural extension of growing up in a family that owned radio stations. Her background in communication and relationship-building continues to shape her work in senior living.

Michelle’s commitment to supporting older adults began when her grandparents needed help navigating the aging process. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could guide families with clarity, empathy, and respect. After five years in a hospital setting and later discovering her passion for memory care admissions, she found meaningful purpose in helping families through important decisions. When she experienced the warmth and energy of The Willows, she knew it was the right place to continue that work.

As Business Development Manager, Michelle builds strong connections with healthcare providers, local businesses, and senior-focused organizations to share the mission and values of The Willows. Compassion is the core value that guides her most, and she is committed to ensuring families feel supported and informed throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding mountain trails in her Jeep named Smokey, and watching favorite movies like The Shawshank Redemption. Her ideal vacation is a quiet lake in the mountains. She and her husband, Lew, have been married for 29 years and have a son, Montgomery, along with two dogs, Roxie and Harley.
